Any ideas?

Last weekend I was in Home Depot on 23rd street in Manhattan, and I stumbled across this aluminum sheeting. Apparently, the people at Home Depot don’t read my blog otherwise they would know that this pattern is actually Quatrefoil. But that aside, this material seems like it has potential. I think it is generally used for things like radiator covers, etc. It’s not that cheap (see the price per sheet), but I just wanted to throw this out there and see if any of you had ideas on cool ways to use this. I wanna hear from you!

Paint a pegboard, lay this aluminum sheeting over it(painted another color) and then peg your pots and pans in between!

Oh I like your idea! And I bet you could also layer it over a painted cork board and it could be a really pretty message board.

Not sure how big it is, but what about some sort of headboard? I like the idea of using it with a frame, adding hooks, and hanging your keys or jewelry too!

I could also see it being nice on a door with molding…

It would also make a great substitute for tin ceiling panels. You could paint it a bright color or metallic color.

Im way past the post date but one article led to another and I found myself here. What if you were to frame panels in a vertical fashion.. (2x2high or 2x3high or even 1×2 or 1×3 depending on their size) with something as simple as molding strips or a cheap wall trim.. and then suspend it in front of a window as a sort of play on window treatments inspired by stained glass hangings or even a twist on the trend of hanging artwork over bookcase shelves. The panels could be painted, the frame could be painted, either or both and it could be matching with the design offering the only detailing or drastically different colors to play up the construction.

Paint it gold. Put it in front of a red velvet panel, then frame it to be the back drop of the head board.
